With twenty years of experience as a working actor and ten years teaching theatre, I wanted to cultivate a safe space where actors of all ages and levels could grow and take artistic risks. In The Studio, you will be encouraged and challenged to dig deep, search the text, and make bold choices to create a truthful character.

Tasha Gorel and Patricia Duran are joining forces to provide two package options to help you prepare for the Houston Alliance Auditions.

15-minute Mini Headshot Session with Tasha Gorel, including one final edit.

This class is ideal for those looking to make a strong impression at the Alliance Audition while participating in a group audition prep class. You'll focus on two contrasting monologues, rehearse your slate, and more.
​A non-refundable deposit of $75 is required at registration, with the remaining balance due at the start of the class.

This class is designed for the experienced actor looking to refresh and enhance their audition material.
An $85 non-refundable deposit is due at registration, with the remaining balance payable at the first session.

This 6-week class is for the adult actor who hungers to create in a safe space without the pressures of a performance.
Actors of all levels will sharpen their craft by diving deep into script analysis, scene work, and character development to create an honest, multidimensional character based on the text while exploring bold physical and vocal choices. If you want to be challenged and grow out of your comfort zone as an actor, then this class is for you.

This Class is FULL!
This three-week improv class is a must for teens who love improv and want to strengthen their craft.
Teens will explore the foundations of improvisation through a wide range of fun activities. They will learn the importance of collaboration through active listening and agreement while developing characters and scenes. This course is going to be a blast!
